Bite This!: The Primos Audiablo

Philly is a sandwhich town. There isn’t a “best sandwich” in this city, simply because there are just too many that blow your socks off to really just pick one. It’s just not fair to choose just one.  When it comes to sammies, Philly is a beast.

That being said, I want to highlight one of my favorite bangers-on-bread. If you live in Philly, you probably already know what I am talking about.

Specifically, I’d like to shout out Primo Hoagies and their “Diablo” (spicy) category, that houses the Audiablo. This spicy delight on a seeded roll has a delicious combo of turkey breast and roast beef with hot pepper cheese topped with a nice touch of a light spicy seasoning.

As you can see, I like to add banana peppers, mayo, and some olive oil to this beauty. Not only is this hoagie an instant hangover cure, it’s also basically two-meals-in-one for those of us with tiny tummies.

Primos has ventured out and you can find them in many neighborhoods in Philly and Jersey. If you get the chance, I would recommend going to their original location in South Philly (15th and Ritner). The folks there are cool and they remind you of how “South Philly” South Philly really is! I love it!

So, if you are in need of a delicious, substantial hoagie, we highly recommend that you Bite This!: the Primo, Audiablo.
